Almost all couples, at some stage of their shared lives, will face struggle

Couples may deal with issues of communication, intimacy, or empathy, or with conflicts internal or external to the relationship, including work and social commitments.

The couple is a small system that is part of larger systems like families, neighborhoods, cities, etc. They all affect each other, but often the couple is the most impacted.

Individuals develop, and so do couples.

This is great, but can be challenging when one individual in the couple does not. Development can become critical when the couple run out of tools, strategies, or even support. I like to see the impasses that couples face as opportunities to learn new strategies that can foster deeper intimacy and connections.

Once you invite me into the couples system, I will carefully reflect on the challenges you face in order to make the necessary suggestions. My interventions are respectful, considered, supportive, and tactful. I aim to provide you with the support and skills you need to make your relationship purposeful and fulfilling.
